This series uncovers the traditional techniques that define Japanese gardens, thoughtfully adapted for our desert climate. Each workshop focuses on essential aspects of Japanese gardening, from precise pruning techniques to constructing bamboo fencing and benches. You'll gain hands-on experience with methods like Japanese pruning, organic topiary, and the Sukashi (thinning) technique, along with guidance on selecting the right tools and rejuvenating older plant material. $30.
